Understanding PCOS

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is the most common disorder in menstruating women. It is estimated that 1 in 10 women worldwide are diagnosed with PCOS. Now this is a topic very dear to me as a lot of young adults go through a lot of confusion and misinformation on this topic.

To add to it, that there are a lot source on the net that indicate that PCOS is different from PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disorder). The crux of the argument is that one is an endocrine system disorder while the other is caused by hormonal imbalance. Now this just doesn’t make any sense to me – endocrine system disorder IS the cause of hormonal imbalance. The only way in which the 2 could be differentiated is if say someone has another hormonal imbalance such as Insulin insufficiency which is proven to be the CAUSE resulting in polycystic ovarian syndrome.

I have a series of videos that address what it is, how it impacts your body and the diet you should consume to keep this condition from adversely affecting your lifestyle.
